Brief Considerations on International And European Human Rights Law
Abstract
An important step in public international law is the conclusion of peace treaties after the First World War, as they better specify the protection of human rights, in particular those aimed at protecting a certain category of people (for example , foreigners, national minorities, slaves, etc.). Thus, the peace treaties concluded better specify the protection of human rights, providing for obligations incumbent on the signatory States, with the extremely important mention that their non-application was internationally sanctioned, a major role in this respect having the Council of the League of Nations.
